The MM74HC74A is fabricated on an advanced CMOS process and operates at speeds comparable to LS-TTL parts. It has high noise immunity and low power consumption of a standard CMOS integrated circuit and can drive 10 LS-TTL loads. This flip-flop has independent data, preset, clear and clock inputs, and Q and Q# outputs. During the forward transition of the clock pulse, the logic level at the data input is transferred to the output. The preset and clear inputs are clock independent and are accomplished with a low on the appropriate input. The 74HC logic family is functionally and pin-out compatible with the standard 74LS logic family. All inputs are protected from electrostatic discharge damage by clamping internal diodes to VCC and ground.

The MC74VHC541 is an advanced high-speed CMOS octal bus buffer fabricated on a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high-speed operation similar to an equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. The MC74VHC541 is non-inverting. When OE1 or OE2 is high level, the terminal output is in high impedance state. This internal circuit consists of three stages, including a buffered output that provides high noise immunity and stable output. The input withstand voltage is up to 7V, and it supports the interface from 5V system to 3V system.
