Logic device/transceiver/encoder
The VHC139 is an advanced high-speed CMOS dual-channel 2:4 decoder/demultiplexer fabricated in silicon-gate CMOS technology. It achieves high-speed operation similar to the equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining low power consumption in CMOS. An active-low enable input can be used for gate control or as a data input to a demultiplexer. When the enable input is held high, all four outputs are fixed high independent of the other inputs. Input protection circuitry ensures that 0V to 7V can be applied to the input pins regardless of supply voltage. This device can be used to interface 5V to 3V systems and two power systems such as backup batteries. This circuit prevents damage to the device due to mismatch between power supply and input voltage.
