The LCX74 is a dual D-type flip-flop with asynchronous clear and set inputs and complementary (Q, Q#) outputs. Information from the input is transferred to the output on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. After the clock pulse input threshold voltage has passed, the data input is blocked, and the current information will not be transferred to the output until the next clock pulse input rising edge. The MC74VHC74 is an advanced high-speed CMOS D-type flip-flop fabricated on a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high operating speeds similar to equivalent bipolar Schottky TTLs while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. Signal levels applied to the D input are transferred to the Q output during the positive transition of the clock pulse. Reset (RD) and set (SD) are independent of clock (CP) by setting the corresponding input low. This internal circuit consists of three stages, including a buffered output that provides high noise immunity and stable output. The input withstand voltage is up to 7V, and it supports the interface from 5V system to 3V system.
