Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device

The MCT6X optocouplers have two channels for density applications. For quad-channel applications, two encapsulations are used to accommodate standard 16-pin DIP sockets. Each channel is an NPN silicon epitaxial planar phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide light-emitting diode.

The 6N137M, HCPL2601M, HCPL2611M single-channel and HCPL2630M, HCPL2631M dual-channel consist of an 850 nm AlGaAS LED optically coupled to a very high-speed integrated photodetector logic gate with tunable output. This output has an open collector allowing a wired OR output. Coupling parameters are guaranteed from -40°C to +85°C. Input signals up to 5mA provide a minimum output sink of 13mA (fan-out 8). Internal noise shielding provides excellent common-mode rejection, typically 10kV/µs. The HCPL2601M and HCPL2631M have a minimum CMR of 5kV/µs. The minimum CMR of the HCPL2611M is 10kV/?s.

The CNY17XM, CNY17FXM, and MOC810XM devices consist of a Gallium Arsenide infrared light-emitting diode coupled to an NPN phototransistor with dual-row plug-inencapsulation.

The 6N138M/9M and HCPL2730M/31M ​​optocouplers consist of an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a high gain split Darlington photodetector. The split Darlington configuration separates the input photodiode and first-order gain from the output transistor, allowing for lower output saturation voltage and faster operation than conventional Darlington optocouplers. In the dual-channel devices HCPL2730M/HCPL2731M, the integrated emitter-base resistor has excellent stability over temperature. The combination of an extremely low input current of 0.5mA and a high current transfer ratio of 2000% makes this series ideal for use as an input interface for MOS, CMOS, LSTTL and EIA RS232C, while ensuring output compatibility to CMOS and high fanout TTL requirements.
