The FAN3226-29 series of dual-channel 2-A gate drivers is designed to drive N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs in low-side switching applications by supplying high peak current pulses during short switching intervals. The drivers are available with TTL or CMOS input thresholds. Internal circuitry provides an undervoltage lockout by holding the output low until the supply voltage enters the operating range. Additionally, these drivers provide matched internal propagation delays between the A and B channels, making them suitable for dual-gate drive applications that require tight timing, such as synchronous rectifiers. This allows two drivers to be connected in parallel, effectively doubling the current capability to drive a single MOSFET.
