The FL3100T 2 A gate driver provides high peak current pulses with short switching intervals for driving N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs in low-side switching applications. The FL3100T has two inputs that can be configured for the DIM pin to operate in non-inverting mode (IN) for PWM dimming control of the LED driver. The high accuracy PWM dimming control required in smart LED drivers can be achieved by the duty cycle of the DIM input. If one or both inputs are left unconnected, internal resistors bias the inputs so that the output pulls low to keep the power MOSFETs off. The driver provides TTL input thresholds. Internal circuitry holds the output low until the supply voltage is within operating range, providing undervoltage lockout. The FL3100T provides fast MOSFET switching performance that helps maximize energy efficiency in high frequency power converter designs.
