The VCX162373 contains sixteen non-inverting bidirectional buffers with 3-state outputs for bus-oriented applications. The device is byte controlled. When the latch enable (LE) is high, the flip-flop is transparent to the data. When LE is low, the data meeting the setup time will be latched. When output enable (OE#) is low, data is presented on the bus. When OE# is high, the output is in a high impedance state. The VCX162373 is also designed with a 26ohm resistor at the output. This design reduces line noise in applications such as memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented transceivers/transmitters.
