The CAT5119 Linear Tap Digital POT functions the same as a mechanical potentiometer or variable resistor. The device consists of a fixed resistor and a wiper contact with 32 tap points that are digitally controlled via a 2-wire/down-serial interface. The CAT5119 is configured as a variable resistor. Three resistance values are available: 10 kΩ, 50 Ω, and 100 kΩ.
