The high-performance silicon-gate CMOS MC74HCT244A has the same pin-out as the LS244. The device can be used as a level shifter to interface TTL or NMOS outputs to high speed CMOS inputs. The HCT244A is an octal non-inverting buffer line driver line receiver for 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and other bus-oriented systems. The device has a non-inverting output and two active-low output enables. The HCT244A is a non-inverting version of the HCT240. See also HCT241.
