The NCP1034 is a high voltage PWM controller for high performance synchronous step-down DC-DC applications. The NCP1034 drives a pair of external N-MOSFETs with a programmable switching frequency up to 500 kHz, allowing the flexibility to tune the operation of the IC to meet system-level requirements. The external synchronization feature simplifies system-level filter design. The output voltage is precisely regulated using an internal 1.25 V reference for low voltage applications. Protection features such as undervoltage lockout and intermittent current limit are provided to provide the required system-level safety in the event of a fault.
