The NCP1392B is a self-oscillating high-voltage MOSFET driver designed primarily for applications using half-bridge topologies. Thanks to its proprietary high-voltage technology, the driver accepts large voltages up to 600 V. The driver's operating frequency can be adjusted from 25 kHz to 480 kHz using a single resistor. Adjustable undervoltage protection ensures correct high voltage operating range. An internal 100 ms PFC delay timer ensures that the main downstream converter is turned on when the bulk voltage is fully regulated. The device offers a fixed dead time that helps reduce shoot-through current.
