The NCP81233 is a multiphase controller that can operate as a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 phase controller. The device has an I2C interface that can be used to configure the output voltage, slew rate, overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds, and input UVLO. NCP81233 provides PWM signal to DrMOS interface and can support 3.3V/5V logic. The device features remote sensing to maintain voltage accuracy for high current designs. Differential current sensors can be used for inductor DCR sensing or combined with Iout signal of DrMOS. The device supports reading Vout and Iout signals through the I2C interface. The part interfaces with the NCP81162 dual-phase circuit, supporting up to 12-phase operation.
