The FAN3111 1A gate driver is designed to drive N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs in low-side switching applications. Two input options are available: The FAN3111C has dual CMOS inputs with thresholds referenced to VDD for PWM controllers and other input signal sources operating on the same supply voltage as the driver. This supply voltage can also be used as the input threshold reference for the FAN3111E for use with low-voltage controllers and other input signal sources that operate on a supply voltage lower than that of the driver. The driver has a non-inverting low voltage input and a DC input, VXREF, for a 2 to 5V external reference voltage. The FAN3111 features an off-the-shelf leadless 5-pin SOT23 encapsulation.
