The FSGM300N is an integrated Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET designed for off-line Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. The PWM controller includes an integrated fixed-frequency oscillator, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), leading-edge spacing (LEB), optimized gate drivers, internal soft-start, temperature-compensated precision current source for loop compensation, and self-protection circuit. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller solutions, the FSGM series can reduce overall cost, parts count, size and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
