The LE25U40CMD is a SPI bus flash memory device with a 4M-bit (512K x 8-bit) configuration, which adds high-performance dual output and dual I/O capabilities. It uses a single 2.5V supply. The LE25U40CMD takes full advantage of the inherent features of serial Flash memory devices and comes in an ultra-small 8-pin package. All these features make the device suitable for storing programs in applications such as portable information devices, where size requirements are becoming increasingly compact. The LE25U40CMD also features a small sector erase function, making the device ideal for storing parameters or data that require fewer rewrite cycles and cannot be handled by conventional EEPROMs due to insufficient space.
