The NBC12439 and NBC12439A are general-purpose, PLL-based synthesized clock sources. The VCO operates from 400 MHz to 800 MHz. The VCO frequency is sent to the N output divider, where it can be configured to provide a divide ratio of 1, 2, 4 or 8. The VCO and output frequency are programmable using the configuration logic's parallel or serial interface. The PLL loop filter is fully integrated without any external components. NBC12439 specifies the operating range as the commercial temperature range. The NBC12439A is specified to operate over the industrial temperature range.
